colorFabb nGen Flex

I always try to test new flexible filaments, since there is such a strong interest in them. So far, I've been unsuccessful with nGen Flex - it fails not due to wrapping around the feed gear like some flex filaments do, but due to slipping in the feeder, like most of the TreeD flexible materials. I used temperatures of 240 - 250ยบ and both 0.4mm and 0.5mm nozzles. Maybe adding heat shrink tubing to the outside of the feed bearing as suggested by "gabuzome" here http://www.z-temp.co/forum/index.php?topic=32.msg328#msg328 would give the feeder enough grip.

Another problem with nGen is that it wants to curl and lift up, and glue stick does not seem to work in holding it to the perfboard.

Hello Julia, I'm also trying to design an insert for the feeding motor cage in order to avoid the shrinking of soft filaments like on MK8 or MK9 heads, and guide them in the feeding line.
I've no real time actually to finish it but stay tuned, I think this should be ok by the mid of november!

All the best.
