Polymax

Polymax is my favorite material for parts requiring strength hands down.

It all ready printed fine through the standard Z hotend, but I'm seeing an even better, more precise print with the ZT-HE, and nicer surfaces.

Just a subtle 5-10% improvement, but it's definitely better.

Nice support removal too if you are careful what you print with it. Internal or hard to reach support should be avoided.

Z-Temp @ -70
ABS 0.19
60% fan
Bed heated then switched off before starting print
No shim

I change all my machines to dual fan.

It's for me a necessary mod for the Zortrax

What problem does dual fans fix?  Is it helpful for all filaments or only some?

The airflow from a single fan doesn't blow evenly all around the nozzle, so depending on the particularities of the tool path, the previous layer may not have cooled as much as it should before the next is deposited. Many people have observed visible differences between the left and right sides of small prints when using a single fan. I think it probably improves print quality and support removal with all materials to some extent, but it's more significant/important with PLA because of its lower extrusion temperature and different cooling behavior compared with ABS.

Thanks - I've seen different results on left/right sides of some prints so that makes sense to me.
