General Discussion / When do i need to change the PTFE tube of my ZT-HE ?
« on: September 08, 2016, 07:16:47 PM »
Is there a "sign" to when i should change the PTFE tube on the ZT-HE ?

I am printing PC-MAX at 265°C. Do you have a guess on how many hours i can print
at such a high temperature @ Julia ?

I tried printing at 250°C - 260°C, but the support material seems to detach easier from the raft
during print at those temperatures.

it seems that the infill "MAXIMUM" has a maximal MAXIMUM in HIGH speed mode !

It generates about 50% more infill than Z-Suite did before !

The URL to Z-Suite 1.6 for Windows is wrong, it points to the OSX Version. Because Zortrax a filename pattern i managed to imply the URL:

Do you have a window open that could give your print a lot of fresh air ?

I doubt that higher infill will fix layer splitting. If ABS wants to warp, it will find a way.

Parts printed on my mendelmax  with 100% infill are much more robust than with a zortrax 100% infill. Also why shouldn't the space two layers share with eachother not influence the force needed to separate those two ?

I made a mistake when i red about the xy-crack, i overlooked that tthis happens during printing not after printing. So the 100% infill won't solve that.

Two days after i ordered from Julia the reseller got added.

Yes that is true

But the reseller did not have stock until more than 3 weeks after your order shipped :)

2 weeks ago there was a 20% discount on first z-temp orders in the german shop. Isnt there also an import tax in switzerland that you also have to add?

For me it was a 60 Euro difference. Two days after i ordered from Julia the reseller got added.

I was told that there is going to be an z-suite update allowing a higher infill very soon.
This could also solve your xy cracking problem.

Thank you ! I havent printed with pla that much. I was happy with the results i got with single fan, there was only a little warping present.

It would be nice to see some before / after images.  :D

Is there a tutorial on how to install a dual fan on the m200 ?
