Many thanks to 0xdeadbeef for his work.
This release works very, very well for PLA filament, especially with PolyMax.

hello,

This release works very, very well with PLA with a speed multiplier of 0.60, especially with PolyMax.

Many thanks to 0xdeadbeef.

Speed factor = good idea  :)
I'm looking forward to testing this option

Hello Julia,

It works perfectly, especially for retracting with 500 or 1000 microns.
Can you ask the developer of this application if it is possible to add an option to change the extrusion speed, especially for some PLA
(for example v=40 or 60 mm/s).
Thanks.

Best regards.

Materials Compatibility / Best PLA filament
« on: October 18, 2016, 10:42:20 AM »
Hi all,

In your opinion, what is the best PLA filament for Zortrax with Z-temp and ZT_HE :
-easy support&raft remove
-no warping
-excellent smooth extrusion
-nice surface
-no cooling problem especially for small parts

Thanks and best regards.

General Discussion / Print speed
« on: October 14, 2016, 09:38:56 AM »
Dear Julia,

Have you ever thought to develop an electronic device in order to reduce the Zortrax print speed, particularly to further improve PLA print quality.
A speed between 40 and 60 mm/s would be ideal for the most part of  PLA filaments.
Thanks and best regards.

Materials Compatibility / Re: Filament benchmark

An update of the Excel file, Colorfabb Woodfill instead of Easywood

9
I get almost the same results with nearly all PLA filaments I tested : Colorfabb, eSun, Verbatim

10
I still have rotate the Marvin in Z axis and the saggy part moves with the rotation.
I also tries printing two of them at once but I still have saggy parts :-(

An update  of the Excel file with the test of EasyWood.

Hi Julia,

Is it possible, firstly, to coonect the second fan to an external electrical power supply (12V electric transformer ) ?

13
With a dual fans, is it possible to reduce this printing problem ?

14
Hi all,

Do you need dual fans to get best results with PLA filament or others non-official filaments ?

Hi hobbymods,

Do you use a single or a dual fans to print with Polymax ?
