Height of the ZT-HE
« on: May 31, 2016, 04:14:29 AM »
Does the ZT-HE have the same height as the V2 when plugged in ? I noticed a slight visual difference. It seems to me that the ZT-HE is a little longer.
Could this cause problem when printing on the edge of the maximum height ?

The length of the ZT-HE can vary a little depending on the orientation of the threads in the block and on the tube (and how you assemble it), but 43mm is pretty much the maximum it will ever be. Zortrax v2 is 41mm, so yes, you may lose up to a couple of mm, sorry.

good to know. but does the zortrax actually use up everything of the available z-height right away ?
maybe there is a tolerance and the print height could be still the same.
