Materials Compatibility / Re: PLA raft removal
« on: October 23, 2016, 10:58:59 AM »
At that temperature it is impossible to remove the raft, especially on planar surfaces.
Buy the ZT -HE and will change your life.
I use an additional trick,  I insert an interruption on Z suite to 0%, wait 1 minute and restart the printing.
But the secret is in the  temperature, as you said, 230 ° is too much press as Julia said between 190 and 210° but with Hotend V2 is impossible

Great!!

ohh wonderful! It will also be useful for prints without a raft; It is getting enough empirical find the right thickness where to make the slices in Z-suite

I printed in red PLA, very nice, but I think it's better to do it in ABS.
Thanks Julia;)

Another bug >:(

I inserted the print interruption, and viewing them, when I save the file, they disappear. :(

I have installed on my Mac, nothing works!
how do you release a version full of bugs?
filament usage doesn't work
old z code files doesn't work
library doesn't work

I often use the PLA, with single fan, the results are good, but   I'm reading, the dual fan would be recommended.
I would like to make the change, and I would like to know if a fan  40 mm x 10 mm DC 12 Volt height is correct.
Also if you could tell me the part stl files, I have seen many, but I ask you what is the best.
Thank you

Materials Compatibility / Re: Saintsmart TPU

I'm using the Kyoto flex TreeD filaments, with nozzle 0.5, no problem with the gear, I have to try to use the nozzle 0.4.
The filament is normally loaded, for now no problem.

General Discussion / Re: Alternative slimmer shim
« on: June 03, 2016, 04:55:14 AM »
I was referring to the fact of the thickness cleaning, not the problem that you expressed you;)
I have to try again, but for now the only result was to scratch the plate with the nozzle after using different thickness than the Z-temp

I tried the thickness gauges for mechanical, they are metallic and conductive, but do not work, surely the electrical resistance is different

I I clean it with the spray for electrical contacts, both the shim and plate

Yes I use it, with PLA and FLex filaments, but i would try to not use it
